Rachel Akathiotis Council Candidate

I am a proud mum of 6, my oldest daughter is a West Mercia Police Detective and my football crazy youngest son, Harry is still at school.
My two other daughters and middle son are all at University and I myself am now studying for a degree at University in Birmingham. As an animal lover I have several pet cats.  I enjoy foreign travel and have been to: San Francisco, California, the Grand Canyon, Yellow Stone National Park, San Diego and nearer to home Paris and Romania with Cllr Fran Oborski.

I am an experienced former District Councillor having served on Wyre Forest D.C. for some ten years.

I believe the Wyre Forest District Council urgetly need to become a housing authority, so that we can dictate the housing built in the area, to better fit the needs of local people, more afforabale housing for young people who will work locally, and bunglaows for those who want to downsize.
