Community Work
WFDC Councillor Offmore Comberton Ward
I have been a District Councillor since May 2016.
I regularly campaign with residents and I've successfully campaigned against the closure of the St Georges Park Paddling pool, presented petitions on behalf of parents and schools against the loss of the school crossing patrol on Birmingham Road and supported residents on the Local Plans to save as much of our Green Belt as possible.
Chairman of Council Wyre Forest District Council
As Chairman, I have supported several charities.
Working with The Progressive Alliance (a grouping of councillors from different parties including Liberal Democrats, Independent Health Concern, Greens, Labour and Independent Councillors) several initiatives close to my heart have been adopted by the council, including the planting of trees, the climate emergency, electric car charging points, awareness of LGBT and hidden disabilities.
