Incinerator UPDATE

Officers at Worcestershire County Council have now received further information from Power Generation Midland in response to their request for further information ( The Regulation 25 request) The statement appeared in the documentation attached to the planning application on the WCC site in the last couple of days.

The planning officers are allowing a period of further public consultation on the new information . Liberal Democrat Clare Cassidy, leading Wyre Forests campaign against the incinerator says "We need to maximise this opportunity to make comments on the new information. The new information is called Supplementary Planning Policy Statement and there are several appendices to it. The Consultation period runs from 18th Feb to 1st April. In addition , many of you will have personal friends and associates who objected to this application in 2020 . Please alert them all to the new period of public consultation and ask them to send in comments".

Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application should write to the Council, either online using the
link: www.worcestershire.gov.uk/eplanning or by email/post to the address at the bottom of this notice. The period for
making representations about this proposal ends on 1 April 2021. Please state whether you would wish to address the
Planning & Regulatory Committee if given the opportunity.
