'YES' vote in the AV Referendum on 5th May

Whilst out and about canvassing in Sutton Park, I have had the privilege to speak with a number of residents regarding the state of democracy both here in Wyre Forest and Nationally. It has been very interesting discussing the merits of changing the way our MP's are elected.
These are the reasons I am supporting the
'YES' vote in the AV Referendum on 5th May.
MP's with a real mandate
Today, barely 1 in 3 of our MP's can claim
support from a majority of their voters.
AV would ensure all MP's need to work harder to win and keep our vote.
No more Tactical Voting
Supporters of parties large and small can vote sincerely for their preferred party in the knowledge that their vote can still help to decide the winner.
Shutting down Extremisn
AV means divisive or extremist candidates who are unwilling to appeal to a wider electorate have little or no chance of success.
Positive Politics
AV encourages candidates to actively appeal to supporters of other parties, reducing the need for negative campaigning.
