Worcestershire is in the bottom 10% of authorities across the country for supporting disadvantaged children.
Wyre Forest kids are learning in Portakabins and youth centres are understaffed. The County Council has cut youth services year on year, yet it's spent a fortune policing youth crime since the Tories took power. "It's a false economy to leave disadvantaged children to their own devices," says Peter Dyke. "If we invest in giving them a good education we can help them contribute to the community."
