Isn't it interesting how a few high profile roads suddenly get repaired just before an election?
Peter Dyke wants to change the County policy on road repairs so that rural and urban roads are properly repaired instead of just patched up with a bucket of tarmac. "Hurried repairs often make the problem worse but are used as an excuse to put your road at the bottom of the pile. We need a stronger strategy at the County Roads department to keep on top of our road maintenance both in town and country."
