Bewdley Town Council by-election in West Ward

Three former Mayors and a Mayoresses of Bewdley have endorsed Lib Dem candidate

Jock Gallagher in the April 30th Town Council by-election in West Ward.

Margaret Hill(Mayor in 2000,Mayoress 1999) said As an author,journalist and broadcaster, Jock brings skills and experience which can only enhance the council.He's a campaigner for freedom of information for the public and his aim is to serve Bewdley and its people.

Dizzie Moore MBE (Mayor 1998/99)said in the present economic climate, its essential for people to have a firm,strong voice to represent them. Jock has all the necessary qualities to fulfill the responsibilities of a councilor.

Hazel Rhoden, twice mayoress(1987/88 and 1995/96) said:Having known Jock in various various activities and activities and especially in launching Bewdley Festival,i know he will be a great asset to the town council.

Further mayoral support comes from Stuart Williams (mayor 1997/98)
