Noise Problems on Forest Gate

Councillor Helen Dyke was contacted by residents of Forest gate who had been experiencing increased noise problems over the past year from a heavy engineering firm on the Stourport Road.
Councillor Helen Dyke, residents and environmental Health Officers have so far attended 2 meetings, sound equipment has been installed in the properties of residents and readings taken.
At the second meeting a representative of the firm attended and gave us assurances that he would work with everyone to reduce the increased noise problems experienced by residents. Reading have now been taken at the firm and are to be analysed in the near future.
Councillor Helen Dyke and residents have been asked to be kept informed with progress via another meeting soon as possible.
