Councillor Peter Dyke contacted the new owners of the shop site on Spennells. He asked for the car parking bays to be repainted and for the disabled parking bays to be remarked. He is pleased to report that this work has been done. He would like to thanks the new owners and their local representative who organised the work so promptly.

Residents have been in touch with Councillors Helen and Peter Dyke to report the increase in dog fouling in the park. They have reported the problems to the Parks Department and asked for the situation to be monitored and dealt with. Traffic Island on Hoo Road

It was reported to Councillors Helen and Peter Dyke that the Police have asked the County Council Highways Department to repaint the island at the junction of Hoo Road and Primrose Way.

Councillor Peter Dyke asks the question "Why bother repainting the island when it is next to useless? the whole thing should be looked at again and be rebuilt to do the job it was meant for" Councillor Peter Dyke will be chasing this one up with the Police and County Council.He will report back to you with any news.

Success!Cardinal Drive Pathway

---------------------------------

Residents reported to Councillor Peter Dyke that the pedestrian way on to Cardinal drive from the Bromsgrove Road was very muddy, wet and difficult to use. Councillor Dyke asked the County Council to clear up the mud and unblock the drains and tidy round the area. He is pleased to report the work has been done and the area is much improved for pedestrians. He has asked for it to be put on a regular schedule of cleaning to prevent further problems.
