Multi Use Games Area for Spennells

At the recent Service Policy Panel the provision of a Multi Use Games Area for Spennells was agreed in principle.
Councillor Pete Dyke spoke for the provision, putting forward the case that Spennells has a very large population with very few facilities.
In other areas of the Country these games areas have proved to be a contribution to crime reduction by providing activities which can distract all ages from causing a nuisance to local residents. This can only be a good thing for our area and residents. If this project definitely goes ahead it is likely to be next summer before it would be completed.
