Whilst slashing £1.4 million from the Highways Budget for the new financial year Conservative County Councillors were also preparing to spend £600.000 towards the refurbishment of the debating chamber at County Hall.
What do you think is more important? Improved road surfaces and pavements for pedestrians and drivers in our area or an improved chamber for County Councillors to sit in?
We know that the £600.000 would not replace the amount that has been cut but it may have made it possible to undertake more work in Wyre Forest and prevent the general decline of our roads and pavements
